Email Access

We offer POP3 and IMAP4 access to all of our users as well as an SMTP server if you need one. You MUST setup your email account via Webmail first in order to create your email address. POP & IMAP will not work properly until this is completed. See Webmail HOWTO for further details.

Connection Information

mail.gshellz.org

• POP/IMAP/SMTP host: mail.gshellz.org (us.gshellz.org WILL NOT WORK)
• POP3 is only accessible over SSL on port 995
• IMAP4 is only accessible over SSL on port 993
• SMTP is accessible via port 25 and over SSL on port 465(POP3) or 587(IMAP4) but requires SMTP AUTH on all ports. Auth info is the same as for pop/imap

Notes

Most ISP's block outgoing traffic on port 25 so we allow connections via SSL for SMTP traffic. We have RDNS setup and SPF records and conform to all other proper anti-spam measures. SMTP AUTH is required, we do not support pop before SMTP or open relay.
