Global Shellz Points
This section covers the Global Shellz Points System or 'GSP' for short. Each Membership Level will have an associated point value that our members can work to reach progressively higher levels. Members will be able to obtain points based on a variety of methods of contribute, from being active in the channel to Wiki article contributions.
Membership levels
- Immigrant = 0 GSP
- Resident = 200 GSP
- Citizen = 1,000 GSP
- Benefactor = 3,000 GSP
- Virtuoso = 7,000 GSP
- Senator = 12,000 GSP
Obtaining Points
Listed below are methods for obtaining GSP. These are maximum values. Partial points may be given for smaller contributions.
- NOTE: We don't give any credit for translations or otherwise non-English content.
- New wiki articles (after review, excluding translations) = 200 GSP
- New forum threads (after review) = Up to 150 GSP
- Wiki edits (after review) = Up to 50 GSP
- Forum posts = Up to 50 GSP
- Being active in #Globalshellz = 20 GSP per day.
- Scripts (Bash, PHP, TCL, etc.) = varies, depending on complexity and need, but generally in the >500 GSP area.
Point Submission
Once you create a new wiki entry, modify one, create a new thread, or reply with a post, please use the !submit command in the irc channel.
The following is the correct syntax of the command:
!submit http://www.globalshellz.org/topic/101-is-the-wookie-real
