Membership Levels

We at Global Shellz like to promote the idea that we are a community. We believe this strengthens us as users and helps create bonds through information sharing. With this in mind we have developed our Membership Levels.

Important Info

When it says "Donation Fast Track" that simply means the amount required to get that member level without acquiring the necessary GSP through activity and contribution.

Immigrant

We all start off somewhere. Here at Global Shellz that means you're an immigrant to our global community. This level is only for those members just joining our ranks, it's the time that they establish themselves within our community prior to receiving shell access. With this level you will receive:

• Forum access
• Wiki access
• Icecast Broadcast Access

Resident

Hooray! You've been active enough in the IRC Channel, the forums, or on our Wiki to be extended "Resident" status. With this level you get:

• Same access as Immigrant
• Shell access
• 100 MB of storage space.
• public_html with PHP support.
• 2 background processes
• 2 bindable ports
• Eggdrop, EnergyMech, and others (Excluding Supybot)
• Access to the Public BNC ( ZNC)
• One ZNC process with a maximum of 3 users total.
• Email account (@domains)
• Subversion/Git/CVS (client access immediately, custom repository on request)
• Public TeamSpeak server access
• 1 MySQL Database w/2 users (1 for local admin and another for web access)

Extras! Upon request you can get temporary access to:

• GCC
• Perl

Citizen

Citizenship to Global Shellz is extended to "Resident" members that continue to contribute. Once you receive this Membership Level, you will be provided with the following:

• Same access as Resident
• Account does not expire or lock out as quickly as Resident & Immigrant members
• An additional 250MBs (350MBs in total) of drive space
• 4 additional MySQL Databases (for a total of 5) with 1 additional user per database.
• Custom subdomain on any of our domains
• Donation Fast Track: $5

Benefactor

If you provide the community with outstanding content, support or knowledge, then it is possible to obtain this Membership Level. With this status increase you will receive:

• Same access as Citizen
• 5 Additional MySQL Databases (total of 10) with 1 additional user per database.
• Personal TeamSpeak server access.
• Unlimited GCC Access
• Donation Fast Track: $10

Virtuoso

For your generous contributions, we recognize that you should be treated with a little extra special attention and pampering. Listed below are the amenities we provide to you:

• Same Access as Benefactor
• Perl
• Python
• Supybot
• Donation Fast Track: $15

Senator

Greetings Senator! As the highest level of member we proudly salute you and thank you for your wonderful gift of gold. We wish to present you with the following:

• Same Access as Virtuoso
• 2 additional background processes (4 in all)
• 2 additional ports (4 in all)
• Additional 500MB HDD Space (850MB Total)
• Unlimited MySQL Databases
• Donation Fast Track: $20
