Request Perl

To request access to Perl just get a hold of an admin and let them know you want it, we will enable it for your account asap. Because you get it for so long we recommend you save up everything you need to do and do it for that one day. If you want permanent Perl access, you need to be at least a Virtuoso.

Perl Access Rules

• Users are given access for 24 hours every 48 hours (after expiration), this means if you request perl at 9:30AM EDT on Monday you will have access until 9:30AM EDT Tuesday, and you will be unable to request it again until 9:30AM EDT Thursday.
• This should go without saying, but any attempt to develop or execute malicious code will result in immediate loss of your account.

Q: I tried to run pimpapp.pl but it says i need Pimp::Slap module?

A: Post on the forums here and tell us what module you need to continue, after examination we may install it for you.

Q: OMG I just ran out of Perl time but i need to run this super awesome app, can i just get a few more minutes???

A: You had 24 hours, it's not our fault if you don't manage your time better. Guess you have to wait a couple days eh?

Q: Is it against the rules to test and/or run exploit code for the pure purpose of learning?

A: No, this is a shared server and we can't afford your "learning experience" to hinder the experience for other users in any way. There are very cheap vps options around these days if you need somewhere to test that kind of stuff.
