Server Rules

This more of a list of things you cannot do on the server than can. Let's start off with things that can get you banned:

• Any attempt at rooting the server (internally or externally).
• Any attempt to gain access to another member's account.
• No running of the following services: game servers, ventrilo servers, supybot, shoutcast/icecast servers. We have Icecast and Ventrilo services already running on the servers and require our users to use these services instead of setting up their own. When in doubt, ask in the #globalshellz channel on irc.freenode.net or email admin@globalshellz.com for any questions.
• Transferring ANY malicious software on or off the server, even if it is not used against the servers themselves.
• No sharing account information of any kind. This includes your shell account, mysql accounts, icecast, etc.
• No reselling of any services provided to you.
• Using your email account, shell account, bots run under your shell, etc for spamming purposes. (We don't like it, neither should you.)
• Storing copyrighted material on the server, via email/shell/public_html. (We don't want to be bothered by the MPAA or RIAA)
• If you break something, screw something up, or even think you did then get a hold of an admin. If you start an accidental fork bomb or something and try to hide that fact, you will be perma-banned.
• If this was not clear before, we also do not allow any wiki articles pertaining to un-allowed items on the server. Example: No articles about irc.d and of course any cracking or malicious content.
